New Jersey

I'm wirting a paper for my English class about New Jersey and th environment. New Jersey has always had a bad reputation for being dirty, but why? Being from New Jersey I can sccount for it being a beautiful state filled with a long stretch of great beaches. Part of the reason that New Jersey has all of the pollution up North is from the factories in the Midwest that have no care about what they put into the air. The smokestacks are unprotected and the smoke drifts across the nation and polltues New Jersey's air. The main cause of this probelm: George Bush. He supports these factories in the Midwest and won't tell them to stop because of their votes. Do you guys have any ideas or comments about this? Thanks.
